Surface Preparation Products - Professional Grade

Proper surface preparation is considered to be the most important step of any concrete coating application for long-term performance. New and existing concrete will need to be cleaned of any and all surface contaminates using EnduraPrep Cleaner & Degreaser and it will also aid as an alkalinity builder to concrete surfaces. If there are concrete sealers, paints or even carpet glues, the surface will need to be stripped. It also is extremely important to condition "hard-troweled" or very dense concrete surfaces to allow the concrete stain to penetrate and the clear coat to bond to the surface. When the concrete surface is properly conditioned, it should feel like 120-grit sandpaper. Using EnduraPrep Concrete Surface Conditioner is a safe and less abrasive alternative to typical sanding & grinding.   Remember NEVER acid etch concrete before staining.
